Travelling by car take the ‘Valdarno’ exit from the A1.   The Villa is about 15 mins from this exit. 

From the A1 exit you proceed straight ahead towards Terranuova Bracciolini.  You pass a parade of outlet shops etc on your left.  When the road splits get in the left lane and turn left and then immediately get in the right lane to carry on straight ahead towards Terranuova. 

If you need to do some shopping go into the town otherwise you can take the ring road around the town so at the roundabout take the first exit and follow that road- direction Arrezzo, in about 2 km at the next roundabout again take the first exit – direction Arezzo - and that road will bring you up the hill (it gets a bit narrow near our turning).  Nearing the top of the hill right turn, marked ‘Laterina’.  Follow this road for about 3.5 kms then take the left turn to ‘Cicogna’ just before the right hand bend.  This road is again narrow and winds up the hill with a couple of interesting bends where you will not see on-coming traffic.  As you come up the hill to enter Cicogna, we are the very first Villa on the left.  You will recognise the gate! 

The road is quite narrow so park in front of the gate if you can, you can unpack beside the house and then we will direct you where to park the car down on the grass area beside the cellar.
